Travel & Tourism Management (THM)
Learn tour operations, guiding, reservations and sustainable destination management where the tourists actually are.
Travel & Tourism Management prepares you to build and sell trips, guide visitors and manage the operations behind them. Students train alongside a working tour operation that has run Uganda itineraries since 1996 — so itinerary costing, permit logistics and client handling are taught from live files, not textbooks alone.
Lake Bunyonyi is your classroom: 29 islands, more than 200 recorded bird species, terraced highlands and neighbouring communities give you a real destination to interpret, guide and market.
Sustainable tourism development and entrepreneurship are core, not optional. You leave able to explain how tourism money reaches a village, and able to write a business plan for your own venture.

- Supervised industrial internship with guests and tour groups
Entry requirements
- · Completed secondary education, or equivalent — confirm your level with the registrar
- · Copies of academic documents
- · National ID or birth certificate, and two passport photographs
- · A short statement of interest
- · Good spoken English; additional languages are an advantage
