Day by day
Arrival and lake orientation
Arrive, lunch, and an easy nature walk through the resort gardens and shoreline to get your bearings. Late afternoon sunset cruise, then dinner beside the fireplace lounge.
Islands, community and Batwa visit
A full day on and around the lake: island-hopping across a selection of the 29 islands in the morning, lunch back at the resort, then a guided village walk and an arranged Batwa cultural visit in the afternoon. Evening entertainment at the resort.
Terraces at dawn, then departure
Early dugout canoe or a hike up the terraces between roughly 2,200 and 2,478 m for views over the lake arms and, on a clear day, the Virunga volcanoes. Breakfast, check out, transfer onward.
